π Seeking 4-H Volunteers for Area Animal Science Day 2026 in Clark County!
Help us host one of Wisconsin 4-Hβs most impactful educational events!
Volunteering for the Executive Board of Area Animal Science Days is a rewarding opportunity to:
- Shape youth learning in animal science
- Support leadership development
- Strengthen programming across counties
- Build lasting connections in the 4-H community
π§ Executive Board Role: Steering Committee
- Description: Oversees event coordination, logistics, scheduling, and communication with host sites and state specialists.
- Time Commitment: 10β15 hours over 6β7 months (includes meetings and prep work)
π§βπ€βπ§ Volunteer Committees & Roles
We are looking forΒ 1β2 volunteers per committee:
- π₯ͺ Lunch/Food Committee β Plan and manage concessions
- π Dairy Committee β Support dairy judging and activities
- π Livestock Committee β Assist with livestock judging and logistics
- π Horse Committee β Help coordinate horse-related activities
- πΈ Photography/Poster Committee β Capture event highlights and organize poster displays

November | Choose event date, activities, and concession scope |
January | Zoom with State Specialists for animal selection & Q&A |
Feb/March | Create registration info & recruit food stand volunteers |
April/May | State Specialists visit for animal selection |
4 Weeks Out | Review registration details and finalize logistics |
