Clark County Highway Department – Loyal
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
FREE event hosted by Dynamic Innovations with support of Clark County
The 2025 e-cycling event was a huge success with over 24,000 pounds of electronics being collected in just 5 hours on a Saturday morning. We hope to provide this service each year or at least every other year. Thanks to the amazing support of the Wisconsin DNR for providing e-cycling grants this event was made possible at no cost to residents and school districts. Dynamic Innovations was the approved e-cycling company that is contracted to collect and recycle these items. They were fantastic to work with!
Water Testing
In 2025, the Clark County Extension and Public Health Departments teamed up to host a one day county-wide well water testing event for residents who get their household drinking water from a well. Thanks to a grant from Atmus Filtration, we were able to offer half-price testing to residents. Following the testing, results were provided and Kevin Marek from the UW-Stevens Point Water Analysis Lab gave a presentation to participants at the Greenwood High School on the results and what they mean as a consumer.
Ways to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose, and Refuse
Environmental Protection Agency
What it means to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose and Refuse:
- Reduce – Try to use less harmful, wasteful, and non-recyclable products. Work toward reducing your dependency on these types of materials.
- Reuse – When you can, opt for items that are reusable rather than “one-time-use”.
- Recycle – Recycling is the most environmentally friendly disposal method.
- Repurpose – Also known as Upcycling. Many items can have an alternate use in their original form. Other items can be modified to remain useful and valuable instead of going to waste.
- Refuse – Choose to buy or use less. Buy recyclable and reusable items over non-reusable and non-reusable items. Avoid excess packaging materials by using reusable shopping bags, water bottles, etc.
