Why It’s Important

  • Many applications ask for your activities, awards, leadership, and service.
  • Learning to keep accurate records builds life skills like organization, goal-setting, and financial management.
  • It’s a great way to tell your 4-H story and celebrate your growth.

📝 Tips for Success

  • Keep notes throughout the year—use a calendar or notebook.
  • Include: general info, your 4-H story, financial records, and project goals/learning.
  • Leave out: last year’s records (unless applying for the Achievement Award), ribbons, certificates, and score sheets.

🌟 Make It Shine

  • Be neat and complete—use clear writing or type it up.
